Privacy Notice
This notice covers one thing, because right now the site does one thing: it takes an email address for the preorder list. There is no account, no store and no checkout. The only tools that can ever set a cookie here are the analytics and advertising measurement described below, and they run only if you say yes.
Who we are
LIKEGRANMA by Don Fabio is a product in development by LIKEGRANMA Inc., a United States company. For anything on this page, write to gianluca@likegranma.com or to LIKEGRANMA Inc., 17400 NE 17th Ave, North Miami Beach, FL 33162, United States.
What we collect, and only when you ask us to
Nothing is collected until you submit the preorder form. When you do, we store:
- your email address
- the recipe collection you picked, if you picked one
- whether you checked the box asking for recipe and seasonal news
- your country, derived from the connection by our hosting network — the country only, never your IP address
- the date and time you joined
We keep no visitor logs and build no profile of you. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling. The measurement tools described below count visits and, only with your consent, tell us which of our posts and ads brought you here; none of them decides anything about you.
We do measure how fast the pages load. Vercel Speed Insights, run by our hosting provider, receives the address of the page, its loading timings, and a coarse device and connection type. It stores nothing in your browser, sets no cookie, and cannot tell one visitor from another.
Why we collect it
To email you once when preorders open. If you also checked the optional box, to send you occasional news about new recipe collections and seasonal ideas. Those are two separate choices, and declining the second does not affect the first. You gave us the address for those purposes, and you can take it back at any time.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information. Your address is not rented, traded, or handed to data brokers or advertisers. The one thing that can count as “sharing” under California law is the advertising measurement below, and it happens only after you accept it; declining, or a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, is honored as a request not to share.
How the site is used, without cookies
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites and campaign tags for us. It runs from this site’s own address, sets no cookie and stores no identifier: a visit is counted from a hash that changes every day and cannot be turned back into you. This is the measurement we rely on, and it needs no consent because it identifies nobody.
Google Analytics, only with your OK
If you accept “Analytics” in the banner, the site also loads Google Analytics 4. Google then receives the pages you view, how you got here, your browser details and a client identifier kept in cookies on this site, with your IP address anonymized. We use it for the same page reports and for Google’s advertising tools; Google may use it under its own policies. You can switch it off at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Advertising measurement, only with your OK
When we run posts and ads on Instagram, TikTok or Facebook, we want to know which of them bring people here. For that the site can load two measurement tools, the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel. Neither loads before you choose in the banner.
If you accept, each pixel sends its company the pages you view here, the fact that you joined the preorder list (not the address you typed), your IP address, browser details, and identifiers from cookies set on this site. Meta and TikTok use that to measure and improve our ads and, under their own policies, for their own purposes. You can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer: the pixels stop with the next page, and clearing your site data removes their cookies.
Where it is kept
The site runs on Vercel, and the list lives in a Postgres database operated by Neon on servers in the United States. Your address is also placed in a contact list at Resend, the service that sends our emails. All three process it only on our instructions, and they are the only companies that will ever touch this data.
How long we keep it
Until preorders open and the launch email has gone out, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. If the product never launches, the list is deleted.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws have those rights in statute, along with the right to opt out of sale or sharing — which for us is already the default, because we do neither. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of them.
One email to gianluca@likegranma.com is enough. We verify a request by replying to the address on file, and we act within 45 days. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection also apply, and the same address handles those requests.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect an address from one. If we learn we have, we delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the list is held in an access-controlled database. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise, but nothing here is worth more to an attacker than the address you already gave us.
Cookies
By default this site sets none. The measurement cookies above exist only after you accept them. The details are on the cookie policy.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes with it, and anyone already on the list is told by email before the change takes effect.
